Welcome to the DPF Plumbing and Heating website. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our website and the provision of our plumbing and heating services.

By accessing this website and/or engaging our services, we assume you accept these terms and conditions in full. Do not continue to use DPF Plumbing and Heating’s website if you do not accept all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

1. Company Information

2. Definitions

“The Company” refers to DPF Plumbing and Heating Ltd.

“The Customer” refers to the person or organization for whom the Company agrees to carry out works and/or supply materials.

“The Engineer” refers to the representative appointed by the Company.

3. Quotes and Estimates

3.1. All written quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

3.2. Estimates are provided as a preliminary guide. If unforeseen circumstances or hidden defects are discovered during the works, the Company reserves the right to provide a revised quote.

3.3. Any variations to the original scope of work requested by the Customer will be charged as an additional cost.

4. Payment Terms

4.1. Invoices are due for payment immediately upon completion of the works, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4.2. For larger projects (e.g., boiler installations or full bathroom refits), a deposit of [50%] may be required before work commences.

4.3. All materials supplied remain the property of DPF Plumbing and Heating Ltd until the invoice is paid in full.

4.4. We reserve the right to charge interest on late payments at a rate of 8% above the Bank of England base rate.

5. Customer Obligations

5.1. The Customer must ensure that the Engineer has clear and safe access to the property at the agreed time.

5.2. It is the Customer’s responsibility to obtain any necessary permissions, such as landlord consent or building regulations, prior to the commencement of work.

5.3. The Customer should ensure that the work area is clear of furniture and personal belongings.

6. Guarantees and Liability

6.1. All workmanship is guaranteed for a period of [12 months] from completion. This does not cover defects caused by fair wear and tear, misuse, or third-party interference.

6.2. Manufacturer warranties apply to materials (e.g., boilers). We will assist with the registration of these warranties where applicable.

6.3. While we take every care to protect your property, the Company is not liable for minor damage to decorations (e.g., lifting carpets or drilling) which is necessary to carry out the works.

6.4. We hold full Public Liability Insurance to protect your property during the course of our work.

7. Cancellations

7.1. Customers have the right to cancel an agreement within 14 days of acceptance (the “Cooling Off Period”), provided work has not yet commenced.

7.2. If work is requested to start within the Cooling Off Period, the Customer acknowledges they may still be liable for any costs incurred by the Company up to the point of cancellation.

8. Complaints

8.1. We aim for 100% customer satisfaction. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us immediately at enquiries@dpfltd.com or call 0151 363 3059.

8.2. As a Which? Trusted Trader, we follow a strict complaints procedure. If we cannot resolve a dispute, we use the Dispute Resolution Ombudsman for independent mediation.

9. Website Use & Privacy

9.1. Use of this website is subject to our Privacy Policy regarding the handling of your personal data.

9.2. We do not guarantee that the website will be free from errors or available at all times.

10. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
